Preparing for Pandemic Forum for Business

On December 15, 2005, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the BC Centre for Disease Control, hosted an information forum for business and industry.  Participants listened to some of the leading experts in B.C. discuss the facts associated with an influenza pandemic and meet other business leaders who will share their mitigation plans.

Pandemic Business Forum Speakers and Presentation

Planning for a potential influenza pandemic has been ongoing in B.C. for some time.  Close collaboration among communities, businesses and health officials will assist B.C. in planning for potential health and economic impacts.
